Philosophy: Photographs
have always been an important part of my life.
Common things are key to my personal vision of the world. I want to show my
point of view to everyone and change what they see and how they see it.
I try and capture the details that people see but perhaps don’t focus on.
My 'Lost Soles' exhibit has been a part of that aspiration. We drive by
discarded shoes everyday, we may or may not notice them. We may or may
not think of why they are where they are. Who wore them and how, over time,
they return to the earth from which they came. This really fascinates me.
Everything has a history, no matter how insignificant.
